- Visit http://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/
- Check the “Our Services”.
- Under “Our Services”, select the Employer section.
- You will reach the employer’s services page.
- Under services list, select the option saying “EPFO establishment search / TRRN Query”.
- Now you will reach the unified portal of EPFO. This page offers following services to the employers:
- Search Establishment
- TRRN search query
- UAN Dashboard
- Click the option of TRRN search query.
- Enter the TRRN number generated after payment of EPF.
- Enter captcha code and click on the “search” button.
- If the ECR is already available, it will show on the screen.
It generally takes 3 days time for ECR. The TRRN is generating during the EPF payment process. Once the employer uploads the ECR files, TRRN is generated. The system will upload the TRRN status in a few days.
TRRN status is important as it will verify that the payment done is accounted properly. Employers can check if their remittances are shown in the list of payments. The status of TRRN also shows if the member passbook against any EC is available. The registered employers can upload the electronic returns online on the unified portal.
